Dear POPS Members,

Happy Holidays! I hope that each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. I want you to know how thankful I am to serve as your President and how grateful I am for your time, commitment and dedication to POPS and the orthopaedic health and well-being of the children and families you serve in your local community.

As we enter this week, the IPOS Conference takes place in Orlando, Florida. The POPS organization has been invited to organize and coordinate breakout sessions. This year’s 2018 POPS Breakout sessions are chaired by Jill Ariagno and Anne Stuedemann and they both deserve special recognition for their diligent work in formulating an unbelievable program that should not be missed. Be sure to make some time to attend our POPS Breakout Sessions:

Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 10:20-12:00 pm

Special Considerations for Early Onset Scoliosis

Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 12:30-2:00 pm

Perioperative Management of the CP Patient

Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 3:30-5:00 pm

Pediatric Fracture Clinic: Insights from the Trenches

Please also come see us at our POPS table at the IPOS Conference. Take advantage of a great opportunity to network with your fellow colleagues. If you are interested in becoming a member or more active with POPS, please communicate with one of our members at the table or myself to discuss options.

Finally, I would like to thank the POPS Faculty and the POPS/IPOS Committee for all of your amazing work in producing a quality presentation and IPOS for your continued support for our organization! We strive on providing educational opportunities to our members which would not be possible without your support!
